CALS Farm and Industry Short Course Halls employ student staff during the summer to assist in providing exceptional service to our building guests. This upcoming summer we are looking for individuals to fill the following positions:
Summer Assistant is a live-in undergraduate or graduate staff member responsible for assisting the Assistant Director with the successful provision of services and resources for hall guests. Typical weekly activities include serving at the hall welcome desk, monitoring the safety and security of the building during evening and weekend hours and assisting with guest check-in procedures. Summer Assistants are employed from May 11, 2019 to August 18,2019. Compensation includes a single air conditioned room and weekly stipend of $250.
Student Custodial Worker is an hourly position responsible for assisting the buildings’ lead facility worker in providing general custodial services for community space and guest rooms. Typical hours are Monday-Friday between 6am and 2:30pm, but are flexible based on academic and personal schedules.
