Your Path to a Career in the Turf Industry!

The UW–Madison Turfgrass Apprenticeship Program (TAP) is a 2-step program that consists of a 12-week, in-person educational bootcamp and a field-based apprenticeship at a golf course, athletic complex, or other turf facility. The program provides participants with the hands-on, real-world experience needed to succeed in the turfgrass industry.

Successful completion of both the bootcamp and the apprenticeship is required to earn the Turfgrass Apprenticeship Program Certificate.
