The Spanish for Dairy Industry series short course is composed of two classes, available to be taken in sequence or on their own, for individuals looking to learning important technical vocabulary for communicating in Spanish on a dairy farm or in the dairy industry.
Registration is currently open for the February 2025 Spanish for Dairy Level 2 class.
Time Commitment: Expect to spend a minimum of 6 hours per week on this class. This includes the 1-hour live Zoom session, independent learning through the online content and material, and listening to a weekly podcast. Take advantage of all the optional interactive learning activities available to you, the more time you spend learning the better.
*To earn the digital badge, participants must attend the live sessions and pass all quizzes with 100% accuracy (you can re-take quizzes multiple times).
Learning Outcomes:
Demonstrate basic competency in Spanish language comprehension.
Construct simple sentences in Spanish using subject-noun-verb agreement.
Apply general dairy farm Spanish vocabulary in conversations at the workplace.
Prerequisites: Level 1 or previous Spanish language experience.
